What is a Blog?

I am not going to the standard definition of a blog, because it might be confusing and as a beginner, it will be difficult to understand.

The simple definition of the blog is;

A blog is an online published discussion or informational website.

Is the blog is the same as the website? 

The answer is, 

  1. A website may be a blog. 
  2. A website may be a website only and 
  3. A website may be having a blog section.

Let me clear this confusion.

A website having specific content that may not be updated on regular bases, If you visit a website today and visit the same website after 90 days, you will not feel any difference. Examples are the websites of the Organizations and Government Institutes etc.

A blog is like a news channel in which the content uploaded regularly and provide education, information and the latest news to the visitors.

    I have understood that what is a blog.it is on line publisheddiscussion Or awebsite.A website can be a blog or it can be simpily awebsite.if a website is changed regularly it is called blog,if contents of awebsite remain same after alon time, it is called website.
